Psych Major is "The Late Starter". Speaking on the significance of the title of his forthcoming EP he reveals, "let’s just say that me and Hip-Hop originated around the same time. I’ve always been a fiend for the music and the culture but raising my family, career struggles and dealing with personal issues always took priority for portions of my adult life. I’m not complaining, putting out less music is fine if you are happy with what you are releasing."

He's not kidding, aside from the Noise Is The Trigger EP (his duo with Boston emcee Dagha) this is his first non-single release since 2010. However the first single "Submersibles" makes up for the wait as the track accelerates to head-nod factor ten, replete with chopped up guitar stabs, lo-fi vocal samples and monstrous beat-break. Lyrical fire-power is provided by Gold Chain Music's MidaZ The BEAST and Psych himself (under his Psych 101 alias).

Other guests on the project include Young Zee (Da Outsidaz), Ruste Juxx, Dagha, Reef The Lost Cauze, Shabaam Sahdeeq, Squeegie Oblong and Snook Da Crook (Dirt Platoon).
